Nature
provides everything necessary to maintain a healthy body. There are
many safe alternatives to chemical treatment that produce
exceptional results for chronic or non-urgent ailments.
During meditation, I
connect with Source energy and visualize the condition, behavior or
ailment. I ask to be shown a solution and receive the answer in the
form of images and/or words. Sometimes these solutions are
well-known basic remedies, such as herbs or other items from the
earth. There are also inexpensive remedies that may be found in the
home or obtained at the supermarket. I have used several simple
remedies with my own dogs with great success. An example of one such
instance: adding raw garlic in the twice-daily feeding of a nursing
dog to eliminate roundworms in her puppies. Garlic is offensive to
worms and creating an inhospitable environment, causing the worms to
immediately “vacate the premises.” Within one week, the worms were
gone—without the use of chemicals.
Often there is too
much emphasis on finding the “quick fix” for our animal companions,
and we lose sight of what is truly best for their overall wellbeing.
Sometimes natural solutions may require a little more time and
patience, yet they can be a more respectful and caring method of
treating your animal. You honor the animal when you concern yourself
with its total health.
I experienced a
situation with a five-month-old puppy that had developed Demodectic
(localized) mange, a parasitic
infection in the hair follicle that causes hair loss, inflammation
and itchiness. The prescribed treatment, or “quick fix,” was to add
large doses of Ivermectin (a poison that kills parasites) to her
meals. I saw this as literally poisoning her, and I could not bring
myself to do it. After conducting my own research on mange, which
results from a weakness in the immune response to fight off the
parasite, I chose a much safer solution: I applied a natural
lavender mixture daily to every area of mange to keep it in check. I
fed her wholesome foods and added certain vitamins to boost the
immune system. The final part of the solution was simply to be
patient. As she matured, so did her immune system. The mange was
gone by the time she turned eight months old.
Putting chemicals
into your animal’s body for the sake of precaution or routine is not
a good enough reason to do it. If a chemical must be given, be
certain of the reason and weigh the expected outcome against the
possible risk, such as side effects. As described above, some
treatments contain poisons to eliminate parasites. The low vibration
of the poison is sure to drop the vibration of your otherwise
healthy animal. Also, certain vaccination protocols have been proven
to cause immune-related disorders in many animals. You may find more
info on this topic, and make your own assessment, by accessing the

page.
Treating simple problems
should not have to cost a fortune or require you to wait for some
fancy concoction to arrive in the mail from the other side of the
country. Basic aid can be inexpensive and immediately available.
