Animals
have always been the center of my world, and the only subject to
hold my interest. It should have been obvious from the start that
my life’s work would revolve around them. But, like many people, I
was pushed onto a different path, where I stayed for roughly 30
years. Living the corporate life was monetarily successful for me,
but left me feeling empty and without purpose. A point came when
the urge to work with animals could no longer be ignored. It took a
while to figure out just what form that “work” would take, however.
The guidance that propelled me on the
path to becoming an animal healer and communicator was provided by
my beloved Akitas. Late in 1993, I got my first… and couldn’t stop
with just one. I eventually entered the world of conformation
showing and breeding. During the next 15 years, my dogs
were my teachers. The Akita is an intelligent and regal breed, and
the unique characters that came to live with me taught me many
valuable lessons. I already had extensive knowledge about animal,
gleaned from my lifelong personal interest and study, but my dogs
brought me to the next level of hands-on experience. It became
apparent that animals are affected by the same sort of emotional
baggage that humans are, acquired in this lifetime—and possibly in
previous lifetimes!
For my own self-improvement, in 1999
I began to study every metaphysical modality that I came across. I
found that Feng Shui,
essential oils and
flower essences seemed to yield the
most potent results for my own wellbeing. Interestingly, I found I
was able to apply everything I learned to my dogs. In 2005, through
a series of synchronistic events, I was led to study
Reconnective HealingTM,
taught by its founder, Dr. Eric Pearl. It was then that I realized
what my life’s purpose was,
and I chose to embark on the Divine path
I was destined for. I knew that I could use my natural rapport and
intuitive knowing to improve animals’ wellbeing. I was my own proof
that our thoughts and beliefs affect our world and everything in it,
including our animals--
that everything that exists does so as vibration. The vibrational
power of thought, intent and desire creates the world around us.
The frequency of positive intention can and does create wellbeing
and health for ourselves, the animals and the world we share.
Since then, I have used that positive
vibration for healing my own dogs and others’ animals. It is truly
a privilege to assist an animal in becoming well and to see the
amazing transformations that are possible-- a privilege for which I
am profoundly grateful.
